As Salaamu Alaykum,

Lol I see!!

-To a Female: Jazaakillaahu Khayran :جزاك الله خيرا

-To a Male: JazaakAllaahu Khayran: جزاك الله خيرا

-For a group of people (male or Female) :

Jazaakumullaahu Khayran: جزاكم الله خيرا

Khayr does'nt change, it's optional whether you want to prounounce the tanween or not.. Khayr/Khayran, it's the same thing!!

As Salaamu Alaykum,

Adab and Akhlaaq are both translated into : Manners/mannerism

but with Akhlaaq it sometimes carries the meaning of a persons Inner Character.

You'd say: that person has "Khuluqun Hasan" meaning they have a good character.. although that does include the manners and all..

Hey Syilla, That seems quite correct!! :)

but In arabic the noun comes first and then the adjective follows (opposite of the english right?)

So you'd say: "Anti Mu'allimatun Shaa'fiqatun" (Or Shafeeqatun, they both mean the same thing).

You mean the Harakaat? The Fathas, Dhammas and etc..

why sometimes they use 3....sometimes they use 2 a's for spelling.

As Salaamu Alaykum,

Hmm.. reading wihtout the huruuf can be hard, you just need to practise alot.Wallaahu A'lam.

Lol..Sometimes numbers are replaced to make "arabic letters/huruuf" cause they're not found in the english alphabet.

The "3" stands for an "ayn/ain"

And sometimes ppl use two aa's in a word, I know I do that if the word has an "alif" after the fatha of the letter before.. like the word you came with..
"شافقة " when writing it in english i'd put two a's :Shaafiqatun, to show that there's an alif there aswell as the fatha..

but that's me, other ppl might choose to do write differently. :)

Saraytan Haramin Laylan Ila Haramin
Kama Saral Badru Fi’tajin Mina’zulamin

Wa-bitatan Qa’ila Anil Tamin’zilatan
Min Qami’qaw Sayinal Tudrak Wa-lam Turami
