Wa iyyaaki :) .... Yes, and he recited so beautifully in that Isha. If I'm not mistaken, he recited the end of Sura Baqarah every Thursday night of that Ramadhaan.... I appreciate your dua :wub:

By the way, i have question about the video. in that video sheikh Sudais quoted some ayah. But he didn't prolong the maad. Is it fine? I mean, does it change the meanings?

Sheikh Sudais and Sheikh Qasim for today Jumaah anyway.

He was just quoting the ayah and its not like he was praying with tajweed if u see most ulema andsheikhs when they quote they dnt pray the quran like how they lead the salah! and it does not change the meaning. i mean the maads itself has different amount of duration!.

SubhanAllah sheikh sudais's vocab is amazing, how can he make almost the whole khutbah rhyme?!

Most imams would do it here and there in the khutbah, but sudais is just amazing

like i remmber once sheikh Aal al talib while giving advice/warning the people of makkah when time for hajj was near said:

فالبيت قريب والرب مجيب

Coz the House(Of Allah) is near and the Lord is the one who answers.

BUt sudais , maa shaa Allah tabarAllah, absoultely amazing!

assalam o alikum wa baarak Allahu feekum

subhanAllah , budair leading beautifully as i wirte this,

Just repeated this ayah twice,

يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ

ended the surah beautifulllly, may Allah reward him and protect him n bless him

Missed Makkah fajr though, soon as i changed the channel the second rakat was over already.

ohh well thank Allah for haramainrecordings n others!

Haven't heard the khutbah yet and neither have I heard al Budair's Fajr this morning.. will download soon, in sha Allah.

Oh and today is the 1st of Thul Qa'dah, soon it'll be Hajj...

True subhnAllah sheikh sudais is just so amazing i think no imam in the haramain uses this type of arabic. alot of poetry but its beautiful:shade:.

sheikh budair and sheikh qasim do they only lead in the masjid al nabawi or do they work somewhere else im sure they do but im not sure?

Does anyone know how old sheikh budayr's kids are and sheikh qasim?

I do know about Sheikh Budair's kids (actually I don't know how old Sheikh Budair is.). but Sheikh Qasim in 40s now if im not mistaken. im not sure though. he looks very young! :shade:

Yesterday's Maghrib and Isha were :thumbs_up.... Sudais read end of Thaariyaat and Aal Taalib, Mu'minoon. This morning's Fajr, Sheikh Juhany read end of Thaariyaat too. And Sheikh Sudais is now leading Maghrib, end of Sura Qamar. Very beautiful, Masha Allah. I love the way he pronounces the letter 'ha' (هـ) It's so deep. :X. Oh and it seems like the time between Athan and Iqaamah has already decreased :><:

EDIT: Tonight's Isha was also quite beautiful by Sheikh Saalih, Masha Allah

Thats awesome, sis! MashaAllah! That recitation reminded me Sheikh Shuraim. In some ayat, he recited like Sheikh Shuraim. Especially in the beggining of 6th ayah. He recited like Sheikh Shuraim rare tone :shade:.

I have to say sheikh sudais's surah qamar was so beautiful subhanAllah and its nice to see him leading for few days now.More and more people are coming to the haram now seeing as hajj is getting closer inshAllah!.

As u already might know sheikh sudais is goin to go to the annual peace conference in india. mashAllah sheikh sudais travels alot i think he travels the most out of the imams of the haramain. i wonder why?

was it sheikh hudhaify or sheikh budair who led jumuah? haramain recordings says it was sheikh hudhaify. but im quite sure it was sheikh budair. i heard him while he was saying salam :unsure:.
yeah, sheikh sudais travels a lot! he has been to england, indonesia, pakistan, france, and even china. mashaallah! no wonder, he is a famous and eminent person. everyone wants to meet with him :D

It was Shaikh Salah Al-Budair in Madinah. iHaram has the recording of the prayer. He recited Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Naas.

Look who is standing on the mimbar in Masjidi Al Haram! Sheikh Shuraim is back! Alhamdulillah :D.
Sheikh Hudhaify in Madinah anyway :D
