lol, lets leev dat stuf fo anotha place or time.. na ryt 2 talk abt hoori'z in a mixed forum lol cuz peeps can get caried away. [i waz gna say 'maried away' lol subhan Allaah] erm.. buh we jus gota keep strivin until we die as muslims insha'Allaah.. cuz we na promisd jannah.. onli da onez hu die in da state of islam.

let's discus dis dunya and it's relationship wit da aftalife.. so wa u wud wna do to gain jannah, wa are yo aimz? if u can buy a sik motor - wud u buy it, or wud u use dat money 2 help da needy, and buy a cheapa car instead?

the other day i had a debate wiv sum bro's bout ownin a car. im like car insurance is haram right? but they said "its a necessasity of life coz u dont want ur parents walkin around in busses etc etc".

BUT is public transport really so bad that it makes car insurance halal? thats the main question here to be honest !!!!!

However, it has been mentioned to me that in some countries people are forced to take out insurance policies. So what can Muslims do if this is the situation? In my opinion, he should pay whatever money that he is forced to pay for insurance but he should not consider that it is a legal contract or agreement, but rather that it is money paid unjustly under pressure. If no loss occurs, this is by the Grace and Mercy of Allaah towards him and the money has been taken from him unjustly and he shall find it on the Day of Resurrection. In the event that he suffers some loss to his property and the insurance company intends to reimburse him, then, if the amount he is due back is equal to what he paid for his policy, he can justly take it. If, on the other hand, what he is due from the insurance company is more than he paid, he should not take more than the amount that he paid them. In this way, the process will, in my opinion, be in accordance with Islaamic law.

sheikh uthaymeen is a great scholar mashAllah but i still cant be convinced... i wish there was some convincin hadith or ayyat or somthin, 2 or 3 fatwa's of the same opinion wud do the job, im gnna go raid islamqa :D

But 4 those o u hu say it's na ryt, luk at it this way....
u musta heard the story bout the man hu out all his trust in Allah swt....in a desert with his camel loaded with food....When his time to sleep n rest came he dint tie the camel..why? cos he had total trust in Allah swt dat nufin wud hapen 2 it nor d food......
to his shok wen he woke Up d camel was no where 2 b seen..........after going all over the place, left ryt n centa he still dint find it nor his food...his serchin 2 no avail....he had kinda given up, n nw waited 4 deth, and sincere duas were sed at this point.....he fell asleep [i fink]...wen he woke up/lookd behind...to his surprise the camel was there...SubhanAllah.....with all the food in tact....
So altho the latter part of that aint 2 relevant to insurance nowadays.. it jus goes to show dat even if u do things wiv total trust in Allah swt u stil lhave 2 take d appropriate measures n actions 2 prevent things from hapnin...
Hence one of d reasons dat peeps dun get insured apart from d chavs :p is cos lyk dey hav trust dat nufin wud happen 2 em....u jus neva know....so in dat sense insursance all kewl...well not so kewl if ur gna b 17 n lukin 2 insure a 1.6 :p:D
Dno if it made sense lol never realy dus but erm erm wel yeh der u av it, so, AV IT ! lol ;D

same here :? , i kno seerat of Umar RA/Abu Bakr RA but i dunno much bout uthman RA or Ali RA or even Umar ibn Abd'al-Azeez...

btw me shoutin khalifa was due to the need for khalifa. man khalifa is said to be sunnah muakkada by some scholars but by scholars such as Ibn Taymiyyah with excellent reasoning he explain why its fard !! And according to rasullulah saws khalifat can only be among quraish so its gtta b sum dude in saudi im guessin... i feel like goin over there and startin something !!!
