I tried to answer your message but I couldn't. I agree completely with you, but isn't the truth worth a little effort? And isn't the key to Christianity having Hope when the situation is hopeless?

I never used any such argument. The point was to show the gullibility of some Muslims regarding the scientific-hermeneutic approach, and in that regard I was successful to some degree.
 
That was the most funny illiterate junk i ever read, is this a real argument that people go by?, wow, i think the human race is getting dummer by the day, not everyone, but too many

I'm a Christian and I agree that this list of 100 arguments are pathetic and irrational. I want to point out that this list was not composed by a well known or respected Christian scholar. I just ask that Christianity not be judged by the actions of this particular person.

1. No man can invent a highly sopisticated religion in 23 years.
2. Therfore Islam is false.

Here's another:
1. There are three biased external reports of Muhammad which contradict Islamic history.
2. There are thousands of possibly baised Muslim reports of Muhammad that conform with Islamic history.
3. The Muslim reports are biased.
4. The non-Muslim reports are also biased, but I'll ignore that.
5. Islam is false.

I'm finding that all religious arguments such as these are equally absurd in their allegations, yet brilliant in their explanations. I don't like to devote time to reading such arguments. I think it comes down to a matter of faith or coercion.

I believe that the Bible is the word of God.
The Qur'ân disagrees with the Bible.

Thats actually not a bad argument. :rollseyes As Muslims we believe things because its been stated in the Quran, and we believe in the Quran.. so anything that disagrees with it must be false.

I think its only fair that christians would make the same claim, even though we dont agree that the bible is true in the first place.

That would be interesting since I have quizzed some muslim as to why they believe in Islam and their answers were just as bad :p

Excellent point cheese. If we put ourselves in the shoes of the other person, arguments that seem silly to us seem more logical.

1. Islam is the fastest growing religion.
2. Therefor, Islam is true.
 
sometimes i just don't understand you muslims and christians.
faith is not something you can prove, with scientific and concrete examples.
it is faith.
for the believer, his religion is true. that seems simple enough to me - why do you feel the need to try to "prove" anything, when it cannot be done???
